Civil Litigation

Strategic Planning For a Successful Outcome

Commencing or responding to a lawsuit requires a cost-effective strategy which protects your legal rights and accomplishes your goals. We help you to develop and implement this strategy with your continued input in order to obtain the best outcome. A successful outcome may be a favorable judgment in court, a negotiated settlement, or a party ceasing to take further steps. We are experienced in advocating for our client’s rights in and out of the courtroom.

We have represented clients in the following disputes:

  • Breach of contract
  • Builders liens (making & opposing)
  • Landlord & tenant
  • Easement interpretation & enforcement
  • Estate assets
  • Lender pursuing debtor
  • Foreclosure
  • Consumer proposals & bankruptcy
  • Agreement for sale

Most disputes originate in the Provincial Court of Alberta for smaller claims or in the Court of Queen’s Bench for claims over $50,000.
